Google published their search ranking for the year 2019 in December. This shows which topics the Danes have ‘googled’ the most during the year.

The Alsik Hotel, Conference and Spa appear in 8th place on the list of most searched for places.

It was helped to this position by the TV series “Kochen på Toppen” (Top-Notch Cooking) featuring Jesper Koch’s success in opening and running Alsik’s three restaurants.

By the end of December, Alsik will have been running for just 7 months. The investors behind the project - PFA and Bitten & Mads Clausen’s Foundation – are taking great pleasure from the fact that the hotel is already featuring so positively in the Google search history.

It is good news, and it emphasises Sønderborg and Als as a place for growth and development. This is all to the benefit of the region and the companies located here.
