Bitten & Mads Clausen's Foundation owns a significant share of Forskerparken Syd A/S.

Forskerparken was built as an independent unit that is integrated with Alsion by the port in Sønderborg. Alsion was designed to be an architecturally unique building containing a university, science park and concert hall, and it is the home of the Southern Jutland Symphony Orchestra.

Forskerparken Syd A/S was founded on the initiative of Bitten & Mads Clausen's Foundation. The company’s aim is to develop, build, own and run a science park in Sønderborg, located in a mutually stimulating environment in Alsion.

When a dream is to be become reality, the ability to think innovatively and to see opportunities instead of limitations is essential. This is the mindset that to a great extent characterises daily life at the science park. What really generates regional growth while also stimulating innovative capacity is the knowledge and results that come from the university and research environment. That is why Forskerpark Syd is a natural part of Alsion in Sønderborg.
