Last Thursday morning, a large ship anchored next to the building site of Alsik. It is the M/S Osa, arriving from Sweden with the first of three deliveries of façade panels for Alsik. It won’t be the last time that this 80-metre long ship comes to Sønderborg, as it will return with the next two deliveries of materials in aluminium and glass for the Alsik façade.

The hotel tower at Alsik is now ten storeys high, and will not be built any taller before September 2017. In the meantime, the focus will be on constructing the floors around the tower including the mounting of the façade panels.
